Clear Concepts English training is geared specifically for businesses. Our goal as consultants and trainers is to help your company's employees be able to do their jobs better by being able to speak and understand English at a higher level than they currently can.

How Is The Training Done?

Our training is a multi-step process:

  1. Initial Consultation: Our trainers meet with you to determine your training needs, discuss specific requirements and arrange a training schedule.
  2. Course Creation: Our consultants review the information from the consultation in order to create a series of lessons tailor-made for your company's needs.
  3. Lessons: At the arranged days and times, our consultants meet with your staff to conduct lessons. Lessons focus primarily on oral business English using a variety of activities to increase vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency and understanding.
  4. Review: Our trainers review the results of the previous lesson and make any necessary changes to upcoming lessons to improve the content and usefulness of the course.
  5. Evaluation: Our trainers also conduct periodic evaluation of students to monitor progress.

What Is Included?

In the sidebar on the right are a list of some example topics that can be included in our language courses. However, we are not limited to just this list and can work with you to customize the course content to include almost any topic your staff needs to focus on. In addition to doing general business English courses, we can also do training on topics such as:

  • Leadership: We use the nationally-recognized "Modern Leadership Strategies From Ancient Chinese Wisdom" course by Robert Foster. This course includes 31 lessons in leadership strategies, employing modern leadership techniques combined with well-proven principles from ancient Chinese leaders and philosophers. This course will help to improve leadership skills, spoken English and reading comprehension.
  • Culture: Using a variety of materials, our consultants can help improve your staff's knowledge and understanding of Western cultural topics, including music, food, customs, slang, and more. This course makes use of multimedia in order to reinforce learning and present concrete examples.
