Description
The International Academy of Beijing (IAB) had an existing website, but they needed a website that their own staff could make changes to and that would let both current and prospective students and parents find out all of the information about the school that they might need to know. They also wanted a fresh and professional look to the site. Specific requests were for the ability to update text, pictures and to have an online events calendar. Documents needed to be available for download by parents and students and inquiries and applications needed to be received via online forms.
Clear Concepts chose Joomla!, a highly customizable Content Management System (CMS) as the platform to build the IAB website on. Clear Concepts used a combination of built-in Joomla! functionality and unique custom code to create a website that contained all of the features IAB needed. The site now contains an interactive photogallery, calendar, rotating pictures and current events on the front page and customized sections for other content. IAB had a high volume of information that needed to be made available, so multiple forms of navigation are used on the site, including an animated drop-down menu at the top and sidebar menus that are unique to each section of the website.
